La comparecencia se realizar\u00e1 ante la jueza Sharon Johnson Coleman, en el Distrito Norte de Illinois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">El cambio representa el <strong>octavo aplazamiento<\/strong> registrado dentro del caso, luego de que la audiencia fuera modificada en distintas ocasiones desde que Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez se declar\u00f3 culpable en 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurrir\u00e1 en diciembre?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">La audiencia de diciembre estar\u00e1 relacionada con el acuerdo de culpabilidad y cooperaci\u00f3n que Ovidio Guzm\u00e1n mantiene con las autoridades estadounidenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">El llamado \u201cRat\u00f3n\u201d se declar\u00f3 culpable en julio de 2025 de cargos federales vinculados con narcotr\u00e1fico y delincuencia organizada. Como parte del acuerdo alcanzado con los fiscales, acept\u00f3 colaborar con las autoridades y proporcionar informaci\u00f3n que pueda ser utilizada en investigaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">La cooperaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 uno de los elementos considerados para determinar el rumbo de su sentencia. De acuerdo con reportes sobre el caso, el Departamento de Justicia deber\u00e1 informar a la jueza sobre el nivel de colaboraci\u00f3n que Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez haya proporcionado.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">A la espera de una sentencia definitiva<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">La audiencia del 7 de diciembre <strong>no necesariamente ser\u00e1 la fecha en que se dicte la sentencia definitiva<\/strong>. La orden judicial que modific\u00f3 el calendario no establece que ese d\u00eda vaya a emitirse formalmente la condena.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Uno de los puntos que podr\u00edan definirse es la fecha para la sentencia final y la postura que asumir\u00e1 la fiscal\u00eda respecto a una eventual reducci\u00f3n de la pena derivada de su cooperaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">De la captura en Sinaloa a la corte de Chicago<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ovidio Guzm\u00e1n fue detenido por autoridades mexicanas el <strong>5 de enero de 2023<\/strong> en la comunidad de Jes\u00fas Mar\u00eda, en Culiac\u00e1n, Sinaloa. Meses despu\u00e9s, el <strong>15 de septiembre de 2023<\/strong>, fue extraditado a Estados Unidos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Inicialmente enfrent\u00f3 el proceso sin declararse culpable, pero en julio de 2025 cambi\u00f3 su postura y acept\u00f3 los cargos como parte de un acuerdo con las autoridades estadounidenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ahora, el proceso vuelve a quedar en pausa hasta diciembre, cuando Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez deber\u00e1 comparecer nuevamente ante la Corte Federal del Distrito Norte de Illinois.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Corte Federal de Chicago modific\u00f3 nuevamente el calendario del proceso contra Ovidio Guzm\u00e1n L\u00f3pez.
