Roc\u00edo Nahle, gobernadora de la entidad, lanz\u00f3 este martes un mensaje claro y directo a los ciudadanos: votar libremente este 1 de junio no solo es un derecho, sino una responsabilidad democr\u00e1tica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Su llamado no fue un simple acto protocolario, sino una invitaci\u00f3n a ejercer el voto con conciencia, sabiendo que de ese proceso saldr\u00e1n los 212 alcaldes que ser\u00e1n sus aliados o interlocutores durante los pr\u00f3ximos cuatro a\u00f1os y con quienes tendr\u00e1 que trabajar de la mano por el bien de Veracruz.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lejos de discursos estridentes o confrontaciones, Nahle se mostr\u00f3 prudente. En un carrusel de entrevistas, evit\u00f3 caer en provocaciones y, en cambio, se dirigi\u00f3 a los veracruzanos con un tono de altura, apelando a la madurez c\u00edvica de un pueblo que ha demostrado una y otra vez su compromiso con la democracia. Fue un gesto poco com\u00fan en la pol\u00edtica veracruzana, muchas veces marcada por la estridencia y la polarizaci\u00f3n, esa que ha vuelto corriente el ejercicio pol\u00edtico alej\u00e1ndola del estatus de ciencia maestra.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sin embargo, no dej\u00f3 de se\u00f1alar las diferencias entre esta campa\u00f1a y la suya del a\u00f1o pasado, cuando \u2014como ella record\u00f3\u2014 fue blanco de ataques, calumnias e insultos. Hoy, lament\u00f3, hay quienes han optado por campa\u00f1as que siembran miedo y confusi\u00f3n, alimentando la zozobra en lugar del debate. Pero conf\u00eda, dice, en que el pueblo sabr\u00e1 distinguir y tomar\u00e1 la decisi\u00f3n correcta. No pide un voto por un partido ni por una ideolog\u00eda, sino un ejercicio de soberan\u00eda, algo que confirma su altura de mira.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lo verdaderamente destacable es la manera en que Roc\u00edo Nahle asume su papel como jefa del Ejecutivo. Con mesura, firmeza y diplomacia de Estado, ha decidido mantenerse al margen de los forcejeos partidistas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Esta conducta, como ella misma se\u00f1ala, es parte del nuevo paradigma que impulsa la llamada transformaci\u00f3n nacional. Una transformaci\u00f3n que, en el caso veracruzano, tambi\u00e9n se manifiesta en el impulso a mecanismos de participaci\u00f3n como la elecci\u00f3n de jueces y magistrados, alej\u00e1ndose de viejas pr\u00e1cticas de imposici\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>En lugar de alentar boicots o sabotajes \u2014como tristemente ha sido com\u00fan en otras etapas y en esta, donde un selecto grupo de notables o no tanto invitan a no ejercer un derecho constitucional en su af\u00e1n de mantener el \u201c<em>statu quo\u201d<\/em> de las cosas\u2014 la gobernadora invita a construir, a fortalecer las instituciones desde la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>En estos tiempos de definiciones, su mensaje destaca por su sensatez y por su confianza en la voluntad popular. Que sea el pueblo quien decida, y que todos respeten el veredicto de las urnas. As\u00ed debe ser.
